Got a lot of the fashion inspiration from Beat Drops Closet.

Starter Note; For those of you already familiar with Avenir, he has two main timelines in the pokeverse that split routes (think 'pick your ending stories') after his return from Unova and the Ohana Islands.

The Alpha Timeline (renowned PGF (pokemon grand festival) Avenir), and the Beta Timeline (Space Race). I intend to use Beta Timeline for the duration of this OCT.

Here, he also gets a mary sue award. Brace yourself.

EARTH RESIDENCY: Hoenn
OCCUPATION: Musical Artist/Coordinator
EQUIPMENT: 3rd Gen Poke-Nav, Bag, Several Costumes and a few hold items to be more clearly defined later.

Personality: Avenir is a risque, dangerous, reckless, clumsy, genderfucked, perverted jackass. He likes to tease people and be a class clown. He's also batshit insane. When he gets angry he throws and damn good tantrum--If you manage to get him upset he will throw hurtful language, and probably chairs and other miscellaneous objects in your direction. Caution advised.
Beware his laughter- that usually means he's planning something.

Around his pokemon he is hardly any different than he is toward others-except that he is more generous toward them than he is toward other humans. That and he doesn't flirt with them. Sometimes.

Around his family his more positive qualities show-- he is passionate and loving, and full of life. He is protective of his friends and family, and he is madly in love with the World and everyone in it. Even the people that hate him.

History:
<sub>Introduction
Avenir Equivoque (or Ave for short), was born on Mt Pyre, Hoenn. His family on his mother's side were a series of renowned Ghost Channelers. He was born with a rare sex chromosome condition (XXXY--Advanced Klinefelters Syndrome) that presented him with many life altering disorders. Lucky to even have been born alive at all, Avenir's parents were very wary on how Avenir was cared for.

Pre-OCT
He was homeschooled for the majority of his school life. His parents were afraid of exposing him to the public school system because the bullying there was especially bad, and they didn't offer courses for children with special needs. When he was diagnosed with XXXY the doctor informed his parents that he might not live long, to 13 was his diagnosis. This broke his father's heart.
A week before Avenir's 13th birthday, his father (Roslin Equivoque) felt immense fear and shame and committed suicide at his workplace. After his mother (Lily Savat) was informed of the news, she crumpled in angst, resorting to drinking and gambling. Soon she moved away to Mauville, leaving Avenir with his cousin (Marie Savat) to suffer his years of puberty without parents. Marie was young (only five years older than Avenir), and knew nothing of raising a child. She was forced to send him to public school, where Avenir was thrust into social situations he had never experienced before.

By high school Avenir was for the most part, on his own. Marie cooked for him and tried to support him, but being that she was a ghost channeler she travelled often around the country. Avenir was bullied and assaulted so violently in his Sophomore year of high school that he dropped out, and was contemplating suicide.

He met his first pokemon on the day he intended to end his life. Ancien, a Ralts at the time, was attacked by a Mightyena and was going to be eaten by it. That is, until Avenir boldly attacked the Mightyena with a collapsed berry tree branch. Startled, the Mightyena escaped to find its pack, and Avenir took the pokemon back to his home, where he and Marie nursed the Pokemon back to health. Avenir had found a new best friend in Ancien.

Mt Pyre is where he met Revenant, his second pokemon (Drifloon). A herd of Drifloon and Drifblim were flying overhead Mt Pyre, and one Drifloon got caught in a kite that a child was flying. It was dragged down, and in the middle of training, Avenir ran in the direction of the kite, worried for the Pokemon. Approaching them near the Safari Zone, the Drifloon was struggling to escape, but to no avail. Avenir, taking a risk, took a pocket knife from his bag and began cutting the string around the Drifloon to try and set it free. He eventually succeeded (clumsily)

Avenir had a hobby of collecting berries and gardening for a time. While he was gardening one afternoon he found a Seviper eating some of his berries. Avenir, terrified of snakes, asked Ancien to communicate with it and make peace.

Ancien tried to communicate, and though it was successful Ancien immediately found a distaste for the snake. He warned Avenir not to befriend him, but Avenir paid no mind. Couperet the Seviper was a strategist, and Avenir's third Pokemon.

Acier was found after some advice from Couperet about the Safari Zone. A Scyther was found there terrorizing other pokemon and playing tricks on them. After being fooled by Couperet's cunning, Avenir befriended the Scyther and invited Acier to join his party. Reluctant, the Scyther flew away.
Days later, the Scyther was found in Avenir's backyard. Apparently, Acier had been keeping an eye on the trainer the whole time, and he found Avenir to be interesting. Interestingly easy to mess with, anyway. But his eye wasn't on Avenir...it was on Ancien, who was laughably easy to rile up. Acier followed Avenir ever since, if only to tease Ancien to his boiling point.

After obtaining his first three pokemon, Avenir decided to make his way to Mossdeep City on his own, his first adventure. Taking a suspicious ferry (run by Team Aqua without his knowledge) he was thrown overboard without a life jacket as they passed by Mossdeep. Unable to swim properly, the currents were slowly swallowing Avenir, that is until a mysterious man saved him.
On the shore he regained consciousness and locked eyes with a man who he learned was Merric Lazuli, a scientist who worked at the Space Station on the main land. Avenir was grateful to Merric for saving him. Merric, charmed by the boy, offered to teach him how to swim. Avenir gratefully accepted and in the next month he was able to swim with little assistance, though he was no match for deep-ocean currents. He explained to Merric that Team Aqua were the ones who threw him overboard the ferry, and Merric seemed rather upset.

After telling Merric his story, Merric offered Avenir a trade. His Golbat for Avenir's Scyther, Acier. Merric asked Avenir to name her, as he couldn't come up with one on his own. He named her Eclat, and bid farewell to his Scyther for the time being.

Avenir soon discovered that Eclat with disobediant toward him. She was adamant against his requests, and to be frank it was a miracle that he was able to get back to Lilycove City on her back.
After his return he met up with his cousin (Marie) on Mt Pyre to learn more about his heritage. By now he was 17, and old enough to start channeler training. Marie explained that it was very difficult and would require a lot of concentration. Avenir, determined to learn, trained for days in Mt Pyre near Marie's home. On his way back home however, he encountered a blind Gengar. The Gengar seemed to recognize Avenir's scent from somewhere, and he began to follow Avenir. Verging on terrified for his safety, he turned to the Gengar and tried to communicate with his using his newfound channeling ability.
After learning that the Gengar was simply looking for a trainer, Avenir took the focus sash around his waist, and tied it around the Gengar's eyes so that it could bear the harsh sunlight outside of Pyre.

Few days later, Avenir felt better prepared for a journey now that he had five pokemon with him. Heading for Fortree City, he managed to avoid most danger. That is, until a Monsoon approached while Avenir was travelling mid-forest. Dropping his bag and getting caught in a tree root, he was unable to move. Barely able to breathe, muddy, and worn down, he saw a figure jumping from tree to tree. The figure spotted Avenir and jumped to ground level. Despite the rain, they appeared to have excellent balance. They grabbed Avenir's bag and helped pull Avenir free. He was brought to Fortree City, where he and the mysterious boy took cover inside of a home.
He later learned that this boy that saved him was known as Chaplin Girard, one of the people that would change Avenir's life dramatically over the next few years.
After the Monsoon and some recovery, Avenir was able to move freely again. Chaplin warned him about the weather around the area, and he suggested that he accompany Avenir to Mauville City.

After Avenir and Chaplin arrived in Mauville City, Chaplin's desire to journey the region was awakened. He asked Avenir if they could travel the region together as a pair for a while, and Avenir happily agreed. This is where Chaplin learned that without Avenir's navigational skill, he would be more than likely hopelessly lost somewhere.

After trekking through the desert and Fallarbor Town, Chaplin and Avenir spot a group of suspcious men carting a rare looking Pokemon through the area near Lavaridge. Chaplin, seemingly unhappy with this development, pointed out to Avenir that these men were a part of Team Magma, a gang of thieves hellbent on expanding the landmass.
After a quick plan, Avenir and Chaplin surprised the grunts and ambushed them, battling them and setting the Pokemon free. Much larger than any ordinary Gliscor, she floated from tree to tree, seemingly very grateful for being set free. She challenged Ancien to a sparring match, and eventually Avenir had his first official capture (with assistance from Chaplin, who had already been very experienced with capturing pokemon).

Avenir and Chaplin, looping through Mauville and into Slateport via bike route found themselves at a marketplace that sold exotic stones. Spotting a sparkling Dawn Stone, Avenir traded it away for some of the money he accumlated at the Mauville Casino. He kept it on his person until he dropped it at the shipyard. Ancien dutifully went to pick it up for Avenir...and he felt his whole body being re-arranged. Ancien had evolved, though he began to feel ill. Chaplin and Avenir stayed in a hostel inside of the city for a few days until Ancien felt well-rested enough to continue on their journey.

After exploring most of the main continent, Chaplin and Avenir paid a visit to Dewford Town, a small island. While exploring a cave, they encountered a gang of Makuhita. While they didn't seem a match for Ancien and Ebeneezer (Chaplin's Aggron), they triggered a rock slide. Instantly Eclat was separated from Avenir and Chaplin as they hid under the Aggron's thick hide to protect themselves. Avenir released Ancien and begged him to try and rescue Eclat from the collapsing tunnel before them. Ancien harnessed as much energy as he could into his powerful new Brick Break, and burst through the boulders to find Eclat swooping around, trying to avoid being crumpled under the weight of the falling rocks. Breaking rock after rock, eventually Ancien reached the frantic Eclat, and carried her to safety.
Grateful for Ancien, she sparkled and began to evolve into a Crobat. Ever since that day, Eclat continues to follow Ancien around, almost never leaving his side as long as they're both out. She was still disobedient as ever around Avenir however, and requires Ancien's assistance to get Eclat to follow orders.

UBF 2010 Tournament
In Dewford while in the Pokemon Center, Chaplin and Avenir were playing cards while they waited for their pokemon to get back into shape. An advertisement blared over a television set, and Chaplin immediately set his attention to it when he heard "Battle Frontier". Learning of the Ultimate Battle Frontier tournament, he and Avenir vowed to enter with each other.

This is where the real journey began. From snowstorms to collaborative battle to being stuck in the Distortion World, Avenir's bonds with his friends and pokemon were truly put to the test.
Here he met Holly Shakiba, a beautiful young girl who captured Avenir's heart. They danced together at the Night of 1000 Chimecho ball, and they fell in love. Soon after, they began dating (despite Holly's brother expressing extreme disinterest in Avenir). Things got tricky however, when Chaplin confessed his romantic and sexual attraction toward Avenir mid-way through the UBF's duration.

Avenir, feeling crippled under his emotions, during a rain storm had an intimate series of moments with Chaplin. He was tormented with guilt until he confessed to Holly. Holly, distraught at first with the idea that someone had betrayed her in such a way, learned to accept Avenir's mistake. She began to notice Chaplin's charms, and eventually they became a Ménage à trois.

Most notably however in the UBF tournament, is the chaos that happened midway through. After switching owners mid-tournament twice, Avenir (and his friend Unn Yen) became administrators for the UBF. After this he left for the Helios Conference.

Helios Tournament
As an ordinary participant, Avenir made many new friends and discoveries about himself in the Helios Conference. Joining this time with Merric Lazuli (his friend from Mossdeep City), Avenir yet again fell to his whims, unable to control his emotional impulses.

He felt inadequate as a lover, and even more self-conscious and jealous toward Chaplin and Holly as time went on. His emotions got more and more complicated.

Knowing that he was endangering his relationships with both his friends and his lovers, Avenir made one of the toughest desicions he ever had to make, and that was to leave all of them behind and go on a solo journey to help discover himself.

Ohana/Unova
His time on the Ohana Islands was with his cousin Marie. His time there was brief, but he enjoyed himself a considerable bit. He at this point, discarded his phone, a main method of communication because he couldn't bear his old lovers continuing to try and reach him.

His party animal nature started to reveal itself here. In Unova, his journeys were full of experimental drugs, alcohol, and sex. Lots, and lots of sex. Promiscuity became his middle name, and like the song, he was a homewrecker with a heart of gold.

Return to Lilycove
After a wild ride of four and a half years, Avenir returned to Lilycove City only to find that Chaplin and Holly had been together, and with a child. The child was about 4 years old, and upon closer inspection, Avenir discovered that the child wasn't Chaplin's.

It was his. It turns out that before he left Helios, he had mistakenly gotten Holly pregnant. An extreme rarity for someone with his condition, even with hormone assistance.

Caught inbetween his feelings of joy and guilt, he hid himself away for weeks in Mossdeep City with Merric, who more-than-gladly welcomed him back. Avenir learned that Merric got in a freak accident a year prior to his return, and it took one of his legs. He survived, but had to recieve a prosthetic limb to continue his job with the Space Center.
After some bonding and convincing, Merric's emotional support brought both he and Avenir back to Lilycove City, to Holly's restaurant. After a lengthy discussion with Chaplin and Holly (the majority of it being Avenir sobbing and pouring his heart out to them), Holly decided that it would be okay for Avenir to meet his son.

Michel (pronouned michele) was introduced to Avenir after closing time that day. After Holly explained to Michel that Avenir was his father, the boy was reluctant to accept it. Avenir, unsurprised by this, promised to stay involved (with encouragement from Merric), and he left for his old home in Lilycove with Merric.

He began to visit Holly and Chaplin's home every day with Merric by his side to say hello to the family he regretted leaving behind. Eventually after being exposed to Avenir enough, Michel mustered the voice to call him 'daddy'.

Avenir's composure shattered like glass, and he buckled to his knees, holding his child close. From that day forth Merric, Avenir, Holly, and Chaplin decided to form a domestic union to help raise Michel the way he should have been from the start. Four parents is a little unorthodox for little Michel to explain to the other kids and teachers at school, but he doesn't seem to mind. When the kids tease him for his name, he simply shrugs them off, saying "yeah well your dad isn't a rockstar".

Avenir is particularly close to his son as a result of his father's suicide. He put away his feelings of guilt and tried to be the best father he could be, despite the nagging in the back of his head that he could die any year now.

Extra Bonus Info:
- Usually doesn't expose his right arm. If his armwarmer isn't on it, chances are that there will be a bandage in its place.

- He is a party animal and a social butterfly. He'll always try to find a reason to talk.

- Despite his perpetual nit-wit like nature, Avenir has moments where he can be very wise. Also, he isn't directionally challenged- he's quite good at navigating.

- On the topic of gender, he prefers male pronouns. He recognizes his more femme side however, and so he is queer in that sense. He prefers to avoid discussion of gender.

- Avenir is actually just one incarnation of multiple characters. They are used frequently in different timelines. Alpha, Beta, and Nuzlocke are the only ones where they are involved in a fandom.

Pokemon:
<sub>Avenir's three pokemon all have a very intense relationship with each other. Just for starters, Eclat is obsessed with Ancien in every way, Acier loves to tease and make fun of Ancien (even calling him Ani), and Ancien usually doesn't lose his temper but manages to around Acier. Like trainer, like Pokemon, they all share similar traits with Avenir, yet manage to have a personality all their own.

Ancien practices a sort of experimental ninjustsu (along with Acier). He is a translator for Avenir, and will sometimes speak for him when Avenir is incapable of doing so effectively. He is the most reasonable and matured of Avenir's pokemon, though he tends to avoid battles because he tends to "enjoy" them too much. He has Avenir's reckless streak.

In battle, Avenir rarely has to speak a word to Ancien to get him to do what he wants. This is because Ancien is not dependent on Avenir's demands. He simply uses Telepathy to sense Avenir's emotions, and acts accordingly. Because of this, he is so defensive of Avenir that he sometimes has to use his will power to keep from injuring anything that dares threaten him.

Ability: Inner Focus
Strongest Stat: Speed
Weakest Stat: Sp Def

Eclat has tendencies to be extremely indignant toward Avenir. Though she's grown softer over the years, she may still have difficulties carrying out Avenir's demands. Despite this, she shows her softer side when she allows Avenir to ride on her back.

In battle, to fight on her own instincts unless Ancien is commanding her. She prefers to avoid attacking if possible, and she relies on her speed and ability to create clones in order to do so.

Acier is Avenir's resident flirty prankster. He and Avenir these days have a ton of fun teasing and pulling tricks and pranks on other people for fun. He practices experimental ninjustsu (along with Ancien), and he taught Ancien everything he knows about fighting to better Ancien's abilities. He treats Eclat like a princess, and Ancien like that kid he pushes into the sandbox because he likes him.

In battle, Acier hits fast and hard, commanded or no. He tends to prolong battles to get a good taste for the opponents tactic, just so he can best it, then crush them into the dirt.</sub>
